I bank with SC in Ghana, but have returned to Canada for a year. Before leaving I had bank employees set up a money transfer beneficiary to my Canadian account. They did it wrong, so I cannot transfer funds. Now that I have left Ghana I cant fix it because to do so online requires an automatic message sent to my cell phone, which is in Ghana, not with me. The message includes a code I must then enter online. So I cant do this. I cant even change the phone number they send the message to because this would require reading the message code on the phone I dont have.
Now SC is just ignoring me. Ive send three messages in three days, explaining this is an emergency and nothing. Such useless online banking and zero customer service.
Stay away from this bank. If you already have an account close it.
