I have a StanC credit card. I swiped it at a merchant location and lo behold, next mth I get a overlimit fees of 500Rs on my card. I called them and they see it is overlimit fees, basically I swiped more than my limit. As a user, I don’t keep a track on whether I am reaching my limit. Now they cannot reverse the fees. StanC is a big fraud bank.
I have had problems with them on my home loan also where they will increase the interest amt when rates were going up but were very slow in reducing it when interest rates were coming down. Switched to SBI and very happy now
