Please DO NOT buy this product or any product from STAR. They rejected my father’s hospitalization first (policy # P/111116/01/2010/0003979 - Claim # 20215, citing preexisting disease as the reason while it was not as certified by treating doctor.
i did a a lot of running around but was of no use. They did not even have the courtesy to say it cannot be done and kept on making me run around.
He was again hospitalized subsequent to this due to spine issues which again was rejected (a few days back) saying this would not be included now.
There was a series of events which I don’t want to narrate here. The bottom-line here is - never buy this.
I asked the two hospital staff where by father was admitted and all of them had very bad opinion about STAR saying they simply do not bother reply in time, ask so many questions, and finally no settlement in most of the cases. They say TKK and Bajaj Alliance is comparatively good.
My question is then what the hell is included???
