I really think that this company is fraud. I have 2 policies, one on my mother’s name and one on my father. I had an issue with non-issue of pre-medical reimbursement costs for my mother. I was asked to raise the issue with Mr Manish Bansal at the Gurgaon centre.
I did that but never got any feedback from him (in september 2010). Escalated the issue with IRDA as well but to no avail!. Recently, I had an issue with my father’s policy and I needed a duplicate card to be issued. Again, I called Mr Manish Bansal and followed up with a mail on 18th March 2011.
Forget any redressal even the mail was not acknowledged. I guess Star health especially the Gurgaon office of which the "great" Mr Bansal is part of is a Big black hole. A very bad company. If this is the way you treat customers who has not filed a claim, I wonder how others fare when they file a claim with you.
People stay away especially if you are from the NCR region
