I would not suggest anyone to go with this insurer, this company has no intent to settle the claim amount. Despite running pillar to post, I could get only 30% of the claimed amount and was left in the lurch.
I had taken Red Carpet Senior Citizen policy for my parents.
I had put claim for pre and post hospitalization expenses in month of June 2020 with all the required copies of bills and prescriptions.
Due to COVID-19 situation, I was asked to submit scanned copies of bills which I did. There was no response.
I had to follow up several times and in month of Oct - 2020, I was told that submitted bills looks like Xerox and claim was closed.
I then visited branch and submitted original bills and prescriptions. Post that only 30% of the amount was settled despite 70-30 copay agreement. Claim settlement was delayed by 6 months and after several follow ups and reminders and branch visits could get only 30% of the actual expenses.
