Star health is fooling the people. After the policy is sold, no body is bothered. There is no customer care. The claims are rejected on flimsy grounds. It is all unethical and the sad part is nobody is bothered.
A claim was filed from the hospital on October 12, 2015 at 7:30 in the evening. There was no response till 1:00 PM on the October 13.
After a lot of difficulty managed to get through to the Customer care and the ridiculous thing is that they say that they need some clarification from the hospital and that we should tell the hospital to contact them. What on earth is the helpline for and why cant they revert back to the hospital on the portal itself.
Precious time is wasted and who is responsible for any losses. I am going to sue the insurance company for gross inefficiency and indifference.
MORAL: Buy health insurance but NEVER STARHEALTH INSURANCE. THEY ARE CHEATS OUT TO FOOL PEOPLE.
