I have deposted a high-valued Cheque of ICICI Mumbai on 6-May-2008 in the Main Branch of SBI at Koti, Hyderabad(my branch in Humayun Nagar, Hyd) as I used to do. But till 31-May-2008 same is not credited to my account, whereas same is debited to the issuer. When equired in SBI Main Br., Manager is replying the concerned person has been to US so I need to wait for that soul to return to India and join office!
And when I enquired in my own branch, the Manager is as reckless and irresponsible as any Muncipal Corp. / Govt. Office & replied that I got no business with him as I deposited cheque in some other branch(though their own Main Branch).
Now I’m helpless having lost the credit and Issuer is also at risk as money got debited to him. Who can curtail such indifferent, callous, reckless and irresponsible behaviour of SBI? Is there any way out to get back this hard earned money? Or do we have to be the toys in hands of this careless SBI Officials? Do customer means dirt to them?
Any help from any corner will be highly appreciable.
