Subways is a nice hangout.You really can’t have your meals at leisure though.Its a great place to grab a snack, wolf it down and head out. Almost everything they put in their sandwiches are made of complex carbohydrates so you’ll feel full for quite some time.
The only problem you’d face with the place is if you were a non vegetarian. The subs are expensive about Rs.200 for a foot long sandwich. I really don’t mind paying that much for a sandwich as long as they make it like I want them to make it.
The great thing about Subways was that you tell them what you want.Its based on a principle where each ingredient costs the same.So if you were to ask for more lettuce and less tomatoes, that would be ok.Or if you were to ask for only tomatoes and nothing else(i know that would be weird but its just to make a point) they would put in only tomatoes and charge you the same as a mixed sandwich.
The probelm I had was when I wanted more olives.I asked him to put very few tomatoes, very little lettuce , no capsicum or jalapenos but put in loads of olives. He added a pinch more.I kept asking him to add some more and he told me to pay for extra veg.
I have faced the same problem when I wanted a certain kind of meat instead of another.
I firmly believe that if theyre going to charge you 200 bucks it had better be the sandwich you really want to have.
BUt all in all its a real nice place to have lunch or an early dinner.
