I have been to this theater only once. So my views may not be fully true, as it may be the case of that particular day/show. The rare thing while you watching the movie , has happened. ie getting out of the theater without completing the movie , as completely disappointed.
I had good expectation about symphony theater till I went there to watch a movie for the first time. The ticket rates can be compared to multiplex theaters . 130 for balcony. I have taken 100 rs ticket to go to back stall.
The spectators were allowed to enter the theater just 10 mins before the show started. We used the never ending staircase to get the theater auditorium.Once I got in I was shocked finding that back stall means , a space at the side of the theater , beside the projection room .Spent 100 bucks and didnt get a suitable place. The middle stall was only 80 , they would get better seating position. It was weird sitting in back stall that we feel projection room blocks our eyes from the screen.
Air condition was switched on and it was the only better thing I found. The show started .It was an english movie. Spending this much money, and getting inside an ’A’ class theater with all facilities , we never expect a bad exhibition. But it happened .
Instead of quality digital sound , I could hear the poor mono, analogue sound just as in a C class theater. And in high volume it was unbearable that too much hizzing sound, and some kind of bad noises through out the movie. Also the picture quality was not that good. I suffred it somehow till first half. As soon as they showed ’’Interval’’ card., I ran out of the theater. I didnt complete the movie.
But im not rating this theater as , it might be like , they had any problem on that particular day/show. If any of you had same experience with this movie hall , put your comments here please.
