Rehman has this distinct ability to come up trumps, specially when critics give up on him. His music is something that normally grows up on you.But with Taal, all his numbers make u get up and take notice. The title song, is great to listen to. The song Kariye na, has a distinct folksy tune. But it is with Ishq Bina that he really dishes it out. The first one with Alka and Sonu is great, But the 2nd version, with Kavita Krishnamurthy ( last song of the film) is magnificently done. This is one album, one must have in their collection. This is Rehman at his best, and such albums are for eternity.
