Sensitive and Moving Story

This is one of the most sensitive and emotionally charged movies I have seen in ages. It is not one of those tear jerker saas bahu kind of movies. but it is one of those movies which has a lot of meaning and substance.

it is a movie which meaningfully deals with the disorder of dyslexia which tends to afflict some children and is a disability wherein kids have difficulty in reading and writing. this movie deals with the trauma a small boy goes thru in school and at home becos of his inability to read and write properly. the acting done by the young boy is exemplary. aamir khan comes in half way thru the film but all credit to aamir for dealing with the film so deftly and mind you this being his first film as a director. what this film leaves u in the end is with a feeling that we all should be much more sensitive and caring to a child’s needs and behaviour. also it makes u want to take up a hobby like painting, something which u lost touch with after school.

this movie is a must watch for all parents, teachers and to be parents. it should also be watched by kids above 6-8 years of age so that they also learn about the disorders other kids may be suffering and they are taught respect for such kids and how to behave with them.

it was a very moving experience. I would recommend this movie for a must watch.
