TAFE Access Chennai [803, Anna Salai, Chennai 600002] will qualify and win hands down if ever there was an award for the most unresponsive and most customer unfriendly automotive dealer.
TAFE Access still operates in the old licensing regime when vehicles were rationed and the manufacturers / dealers called the shots. They will never tell you if vehicle booked by you has arrived or delayed, or if the prices have gone up or if the colour / model chosen by you has been discontinued or not available. Your alloted sales personnel and their mangers will never be available and calls to them and the dealership will never be returned. You have to beg, plead with them or threaten them for any information, including for making payment to them.
I made the mistake of booking the vehicle with them on account of the proximity to my office. Unfortunately since my vehicle loan was from SBI who had already processed the loan favouring Tafe Access and given SBI’s complex systems, I could not pull out the booking and shift dealerships.
I really shudder to think what the servicing will be like!
All potential vehicle buyers, beware, please do not book your vehicle with Tafe Access.
