Just returned from a wonderful weekend at the Taj Exotica in Goa. Usually stay at the Fort Aguada but this time thought I would give the ’’other’’ hotel a try.
And I wasnt disappointed.
Reasonable (though not cheap!) rates on their Monsoon Package, which includes all meals. But since I didnt have their lunch/dinner buffets, they very kindly gave me a meal credit which was quickly (and happily!) utilised at their fine-dining restaurants. Pricey but EXQUISITE food there....and service that is truly world-class, yet very ’’personal’’. However if youre someone who loves spicy Indian food (especially veggie) the free buffets will send you straight to heaven!
Lovely layout and location. The resort is on Benaulim beach which is bang in the middle of the long stretch of sand in South Goa. And IN the resort, all the rooms in the main building face the huge gardens and the sea. And theyre close to the pool too. Stay in the villas.....and youre on your own.
Above all, a sense of space and peace.
And service which is efficient, courteous, personal and pro-active, in EVERY department.
What more can you ask for?
