Tata AIG Car Insurance - Worst customer service

I have persisted with this company for my Car insurance for the last 8 years as I generally have a soft corner for the Tatas.  But finally I have had it.


Every year I struggle to get my license renewed.  For the last couple of years I have had another car for which my insurance with another company happens without a hitch.  But with Tata AIG I simply cannot get anywhere.  They promise over phone all sorts of things: someone will call in 48 hours; someone will pickup a cheque in 48 hours and so on.  None of that will actually happen.  And you know what they tell you when you call in to complain: Please have patience!.


This year(just like two previous years) they made sure that I am now for the last 15 days without insurance.  The worst thing is I got calls from other insurers before my insurance expired and I refused as I wanted to be a loyal customer.


With Tata AIG, loyalty is a one way street.  They care two hoots about their existing customers.
