I wish I had seen these reviews before buying my policy. I paid for a TATA Health Insurance policy on 7th October 2013. As on 8th Oct I had not received my policy neither was it available on the TATA AIG website. I contacted their customer service on 8th Oct to check for my policy.
I received a reply that they are working on it and I will receive my policy at the earliest. I waited for 10 days with no sign of the policy. I wrote to the customer service department again on 17th Oct. This time as well I was told that they are working on it and will get back to me at the earliest.
As on the day of writing this review( 26th Oct), I have not received my policy. This is customer service at its worst. What kind of a service provider is TATA AIG? They have disappeared after receiving my money. Its like they are saying - Thanks, we just wanted your money: Doesnt matter about your concerns, you are on your own!
One thing is for sure - I will not renew my policy with them again.
