This is my review after 1year/24K ownership of this Vista TDI. below are the problems I have with this vehicle. These may not be with all the users, but I am struggling with them.
I have below list of problems which are not rectified yet during the 1 year tenure of 24K kilometers ownership.
1) Black smoke :
Riders followed my car stopped me many times to warn about the smoke emitting from the car. I am surprised to see that these service centers lack the capability to fix this issue.
2) Pick up:
This is always made me to regret my decision towards this TATA vehicle. When I drove the same vehicle of others, it has excellent pick up compared to my vehicle. Again the service centers failed to fix this problem.
3) Gear box noise :
I feel shame to offer lift to colleagues in my car because of this creeping noise. Even engine also roars like a lion. I could hear this sound when I was in the cabin.
4) Hard Steering :
Steering is very hard. It’s even more worst than normal steering. The steering is hard and it doesn’t come back after taking the turn. Believe me I got arm and shoulder pains because of this. When I told this to the service center people, they said “ Sir! This works normal only”. I was really in dilemma what is the meaning of “Power steering”?
Vehicle will not hold the road properly at higher speeds. It always pulled to the sides.
5) Tyres are wiped out:
All 4 tyres are wiped out with in 1year/24K. I don’t even dare to think of the quality.
6) Creeping sound from Plastics :
Most of the plastics used in the cabin are creeping like an old truck. Don’t know why these at least didn’t fixed during the service, though I complained this problem.
7)Bearingnoise beside the engine:
8) Noise when brakes applied
9) Frequent cut-off of A/C in bumper-to-bumper traffic.
10) Noise when engage/release the clutch pedal.
Highlights :
Technicians used to visit the car at my office/home. For any complaint the greatest work they will do is “Tight the clutch and Increase RPM”. This is the damn foolish thing. Last time the mileage was completely down due to the RPM increase to higher than the normal limit. I think increase RPM is not the solution for engine pick-up.
BAD part : Fuel pump was repaired 2 times for the problem of pickup. But the problem was not rectified and in addition to this, black smoke problem is added.
I am completely fed up with TATA service quality and really regretting my decision in buying a TATA vehicle.
This is my third vehicle. Initially I used the competitors cars and they are really good in service and notensions/worries with the service/quality.
I also raised this issues to the customer care. Dont know what they are going to do..
I simply say big NO to TATA.... being the employees, we cant spend most of our valuable time in the service centers. better to avoid buying this vehicle.

I have just completed 13500 kms with my car. I have taken the car for 3rd service at 8500kms odo reading.
I have changed the engine oil during the service, though the company due for oil change is at 10000kms.
I am getting good mileage after the service:
But, the service from Concorde is worst.
I dont know whether they really tried to resolve the problems with the car or not? because all the problems reported before the service are still remains.
Here is my experience after 10K kms.
1) rattling noise from the doors and the Dashboard
2) AC is not that much effective (this is the problem since the vehicle delivered)
3) Head lamp leveling is not working. (they had to replace the switch and it is out of stack. They ordered it a month back and still they didnt receive the part. When I called the workshop, they told that "most of the vehicles got the same problem, not only VISta.
