I bought Photon connection in Mira Road, a suburb near mumbai. (Tata Indicom No.: 9223986819) It was working fine to me need. One morining I got a call from Tata Indicom (later on I realised, that it was from an agent). He offered me a scheme for a year. If I pay only 8500 for a year I get three month free usage. As I was paying 1, 100+tax per month for 10GB. it was sounding too good. I said send me details. They enabled me the services which I came to know later.
After 15 day I experienced slow connection (download speed of 17kbps). Called up customer service. Now, thing started unfolding, she informed that I have used up my 5 gb quota. I informed her that I have account of 10 gb, she informed as I signed up for a new offer, which has only 5 gb quota. After a long argument, I asked her to cancel my new subscription to new offer. To that she said, she can not do it. I went to their service center and filled a form to cancel and to reinstate old package.
Done. After a month my bill arrive for Rs. 12, 000/-. Again called up customer service for error (as if have no other work do in life but to keep watch on my Photon). Registered a complain (256757257) , she told me that she will get back to me (this was on 9 march, 2011). She called me on 20 March saying that the bill has been adjusted and I will have to pay around 2000/- to which I refused to pay cause its there agent who lied to meand why should I pay Rs. 2000/- for 5 bg when I was paying 1100 for 10 gb. She said she will get back to me. Next day I got an email from Tata Indicom that "your complain has been closed, hope youre satisfied" . Such a good people they are. Now I am looking for other provider.
I put this story here because there is no body inerested to listen at Tata Indicom. They hear me but not listen.
