I am really surprised to see the quality of service and the ambiguity between various departments of TATA Tele-services ltd. I had been a part of TATA group for more than five years and can hardly imagine such an unethical business mechanism from TATA.
I had a TATA Indicom Walky Connection at my previous residence. I had paid all dues on 3rd of April 2006 and along with the payment slip I had requested for a disconnection.
NO ACTION WAS TAKEN, AND I KEPT ON CALLING THE HELPLINE.
To save my part of interest, I stopped paying from June 2006 onwards, and stopped calling the HELP LINE.
Finally the disconnection was made and the instrument was collected from my premises on 26th of July 2006.
But TATA Teleservices started demanding for rentals and other charges / taxes etc for the entire period.
I had interacted with multiple “Due Collection” officers like Mr. R. Bhaskar, and the zonal head for the same Mr. Ramakrishna, surprisingly the promise of calling me back within “30 minutes” to provide proper information on why this “DELAY” occurred and what could be the exact amount I am supposed to PAY, were never kept !!!
It was always me who wanted to PAY and TATA Tele-Service Limited failed to receive the same.
Now after all this inconveniences they have send me a legal notice to pay the dues.
I will also see the end of it, I will also move to consumer forum to protect my rights.
Also I thought of reaching as many as people possible to let them know the story of TATA Tele-services. I have all written documents for all the above.
Please try to avoid TATA indicom, as the service is very poor, price is very high, and there is nothing called Customer Service. The Girls sitting at the call center only understand their native language and to make them understand something in English is a nightmare. The tech support is done from Hyderabad and the co-ordination between them is really funny !!!
