Bought a Tata Swach LaVita on 2nd May 2013.
Found cracks around the tap on the 15th of May.
Complained to the company customer care number, was given request no. **210242** for replacement(at my cost) within 48 hours.
No response till 21st May 2013, called up again, was given new complaint no. **211308** which was to be responded to - again in 48 hours.
Sent them an email on **tataswach@tatachemicals.com** on the same day, received a response on 22 May 2013 that the complaint would be responded to - again in 48 hours.
Writing this on 27 May 2013, still there is no response - by phone, email, or in person - to replace the plastic component.
If this is the way customers are treated in larger cities, God help you if you live in a smaller town.
Have no option but to approach the Consumer Forum for faulty product, faulty service, failure to meet warranty and service norms.
I used to rRajeev_Vermact Tata as a quality and value-conscious brand, but I guess that no longer holds true. TATA CHEMICAL should stop selling this product.
