Oh my God, what a crock of shit! The movie is absolutely worthless?but before I go on with the review I must confess that I am not really qualified to review this movie as I didn?t watch the full movie. Up to the intermission was all I and my friends could tolerate.
The hero is a teenage guy who comes home for winter vacations. His business tycoon dad is too busy for him, involved more with his business projects and his female companions. The first thing that?ll impress upon your mind right from the start is that it?s a C-grade movie. The soundtrack, the inappropriately dubbed voices, lame dialogues and incompetent camera and direction all point in the same direction.
The movie starts with the teenage hero singing the title song with his classmates, no preface, no scene or even a single dialogue before the song starts. That?s the kind of direction you can expect. One would have expected if the director wanted to put a song right in the beginning he would have superimposed the titles over it but no, the titles bore the viewers first and then the song.
For some reason the director has chosen to dub some of the characters? voices by someone else. The result? Even a hilarious comedian like Laxmikant Berde fails to entertain.
Payel Rohtagi, the main attraction of the movie has been put into the movie specifically for the purpose of showing her body and while she does have an ok body, she?s not worth the boredom that follows. The movie also employs a lot of worn-out age-old jokes, like a boy holding the binoculars from the wrong side, or when the boys enter their neighbor?s house one climbs over the fence while the other calmly walks thru the gate. These and other such jokes which have been used over and over again by Hindi film directors over the ages just help to increase the feeling of boredom and the futility of waiting for the film to develop into anything watchable.
Mercifully, the movie is short, it took only 1 hour to reach the intermission. Then of course we left.
Since it was the night show of the first day that it was released there were no user reviews available and after I?d seen it I thought it my duty to warn the unsuspecting public.
There?s one and only one attraction in the movie, and that?s exposing the female bodies. But even that has been done very tastelessly and without any style or finesse. The girls, including Payel, Rohtagi, all seem like they belong in a C-grade movie.
If you still want to take a chance and go, I?d suggest that you take an MP3 player with you!
