Best choreography....from the 90's

Many of you would think that how can you have good choreograpies from the 90’s era which gave us many medicore movie...and also some medicore dancenig from the stars...but everyone forgot that these medicore dancing are the one which produced the great dancer today like hritik roshan..

well I myself is a dancer but not choreographer...lets see how many agree with me on my list.

the list is not in any order its just all of the song dance I liked.

1. ek pal ka jeena: kaho naa pyaar hain: farah khan

tanan tanan tanan...tanan tanan...hey remember this first beat of the song ek pal ka jeena

everytime this played every youngester would dance even if he or she didnt knew dancing.

the dance moves given by farah khan were just excellent and till date this number has became historic...you can still see hrtik perofrmnig on this song even today in award functions.

the moves which gows for the line" aye mere dil tu gaye jaa..aae yae aa oo " was very very well coreographed.

this song actully made me popular in my college as a dancer.

2. dil jaan jigar tujhpe: saajan chale sasural: ganesh acharya

many wouldnt agree on this choice..but I tihkn this is one of the best choreographed songs of its time. govinda danced very very gracefully here which added to the good choreography...i dont know but somehow I thought that govinda did the dance and completed the steps.. I mean that the end of each and every step was so complete before starting another... I really liked it.

3. tu chez badi hain mast mast: mohra: saroj khan

one of the most respectable names in industry today is saroj khan ....and this song proves it...i know its again a medicore choice but people so was the time when the movie released. the song rocked all the way and so were the dance steps of akshay kumar....just awesome ..in the choice above, I stated about the completion of a step, same goes over her to akshay kumar...he was again bang on target in this song...

i rememeber myself taking my moms head scarf tying it on my head and wearing a google and start dancing whenver it played.

4. pack chik pack raja babu: raja babu:rajan kinagi

a miceal jackon type of makeup with a copied song and govinda to dance on it...today people would through this idea out..but that time it worked big time...i waas one of the biggest fans of govinda that time...very very well coreographed song withe some crazy steps but which really added humour to this humorouis movie. again govinda dance to his best..but to mention the choreogrraphy was excellent and suited the song very well.

i still remeber most of the steps from the song.

5. sochenge tumhe pyar: deewana: BH tarunkumar

BH tarunkumar is one best choreographer in the industry..he was one of the few names wh owould appear in each and evey movie after saroj khan in 90’s.

rishi kapoor in that white coat looked as handsomeas he use to look in hhis eary days...well comming back to choreography..great work from BH with eqaully great supprot from rishi kapoor who is one of the best dancers industry has got.... the steps in the songs were mostly some of the kind of riding bicycles ..but was innovative at it s time.. overall very well done by rishi he made the people to follow those bycycle steps..i use to do it when I use to look in mirror...even my mom use to try those steps...:)

6. pehla pehla pyar : hum aapke hain kaun:jay borade

salman khan and madhuri dixit just rocked thorugh out his song...if you see it nicely this song has half coreography and half expressions played.... the choreography part which is a type of salsa dance between both of the stars actually sets the pace for the song or else it would have been another nice but a usual song, but the choreogpry actually made this song worth a watch.

7. dance of envy: dil toh pagal hain: shaimak davar ( not sure)

when two great dancers madhuri and karishma arey there you will enjoy the dancing.....thats what we get in this theme music dance by both karishma and madhur itogether doing... its at the time when karishma just returns from the injury to the studio and watches madhuri..some how I thought that karisma was better then madhur iin entire movie and found that the steps which karisma performs in this dance are far more better.. I know madhuri has that egde of grace in her dance but this dance didnt needed that grace it was pure dancing her and karishma was really good... choreography from shaimak again a top notch choreograpy very ahead of times.

8. bina payal ke hi: raja: saroj khan

again a great choreography from saroj khan. madhuri dixit at her best in this dance number..sanjay kappor was ok... yaa the dance in this song again seems out of order now.. one would laugh at it now... but really a very well choreogrphed song.. I really liked the way the song starts.. madhuri in that car dancing , a visual treat for a dancer.

9. ole ole: yeh dillagi:saroj khan ( no sure)

by far the only achievement for saif ali khan from the 90’s is this song. he was immedaitly on the glamour side whne this song was one of the chart busters. again one of the best choregraphed songs in bollywood. saif danced very well.. his innocence added the flavour to the song... according to me the ole ole step would have been performed by everyone in the country atleast once at that time

10 chaiiya chaiiya: dil se:farah khan

one or the trend setter songs of indian cinema is chaiiya. the day the trailor for this song came out I started dancing on it... sharukh tough not one of the best dancers but its all his energy which speaks for him he doesnt need to be one of the best...still he has given this one of the best dance numbers ever in the industry... malaika arrora who is still recognised as the chaiiya chaiiya girl was more to look for in the song.. she was excellent.. the music was thrilling the vocals of sukhwunder gave a double impact... but the song is mostly know for its innovativness which was a dance on the train ..well ithink the idea might be of mani rathnam but still to choreograph a song on a train for the first time in industry was a tough ask...and 100 marks to farah khan for doing that ....still can remember shsrukh jumping with malika on the train top.

just perfectly ecellent.

......

may be I have missed many...but you know its the 10 best...i remembered these many so I wrote it... I missed prabhudeva becasue he was completly out of this world..its his own unique style also missed rangeela dances from urmila.

may be next time.:)
