No magic here

A poor man (with a heart of gold - gimme a break) and an ambitious girl story, but with no twists and no magic. Thats what this is all about. A corny dialogue, saying that 2 things are famous in Agra, one the Taj Mahal, and other...Kabir ( the hero). Aargh, heard anything cornier??

And so we begin, with the heroine coming to Agra, meeting Kabir, turning friends. The guy falls in love with her. What else is new?

Act II : The girl returns to Mumbai, all set to become a director. She has only one dream other than that..to latch on to a guy, who is rich and has a merc for travelling.Jeez! Where was I ? Ah yes! She returns to her job, late by 4 days, and is instantly fired by her boss, played by a pony tailed Kader Khan. But another pony tailed guy , Maggi lies to the boss that she returned late cause she got engaged and all that rot. She has a photo taken with that Agra guy (Kabir).

So she is forgiven, and all seems well, till the boss’s son comes in and catches the gal’s eye. Her merc boy has come..Oh goody. From here on the film becomes a nightmare. Lah dee da, from here on, after the gal explains to Kabir that she is in love with Mr. Money, our fall guy takes it on himself to make everyone believe he is a lousy guy etc etc. so that she can go to her prince rich n charming.

Eventually of course, prompted by her mom she does return to our hero. At the end of it all I wonder what it was all about.None of the cast had any presence. The less said about Kirti Reddy the better. Abhishek, looked lost too. The whole cast had sort of bits and pieces kind of roles. The music was kind of Ok, but sounded more like leftovers/rejects from Hum Dil de chuke Sanam.

The title should’ve been Tera Jaadoo mar gaya.cause there was no magic anywhere in the film.
