Definitely not a fast food place!

Grab the amigos, we’re going to Friday’s!

Day of the week attending restaurant: Friday. I know, sometimes I have to restrain myself from hitting my head upside with a skillet. If you live a town/city that’s population and customers, patrons are usually college students, never go to Friday’s on a Friday! That is just tempting Beelzebub to create some misery for you.

Number of party including myself: 3. This makes a difference because less than 4 almost never get a both which secludes the party from the hoopla in the rest of the dining area, but oh well that’s just my preference.

Break it down food and time: 45 minutes to get a table. 5 minutes to get drinks. 10 minutes for the waiter (by the way, I hate having a male wait on me; that’s just the scarring a movie like ’’Road Trip’’ left on me. By the way, he was the most indifferent waiter I’ve ever had, but that’s understandable since it was uber-busy) to return and take our order. 40 minutes to get our food. Total time to get seated and served 1hour and 40 minutes approximately.

Reservations are a really good idea if you want to go on a busy night.

The atmosphere: Very dim lit, beer tap was constant so of course the other patrons were creating a normal hustle n bustle for a busy night. Nothing special or bad except a table for 3 really was a table for 2 (aka small) with 3 chairs. Unlike NYC, there is no anti smoking legislation or laws against smoking in public places, restaurants, bars, etc and there was definitely a faint haze in the air...nothing unexpected.

What did I order: To minimize any surprises, ’’This platter has squid in it? Who knew?’’ I usually order the same thing as long as the place offers it: Philly Cheese Steak, platter optional. Hey I never claimed to be a health nut. I have tried Cheese Steaks all over the place while I’m at college and so far the BEST is at Friday’s. Great seasoning and even better with the overloading of mushrooms and melted cheese. Oh great, now I’m hungry.

Condition of my wallet after: Still kicking. The good thing about order the same thing everywhere is you get to see how different the price varies. Here’s a tip: $8-9 for a platter, $4-5 for the Cheese Steak and a small soda only.

What I learned: Horseradish Sauce. You’ve never had Cheese Steak unless you had it with Horseradish Sauce. And go on the other 6 days of the week!
