I have already posted my review on the Da Vinci Code movie which is to be released which I should have posted here first, Anyway I would request all respected readers to go to Hollywood Movies->Current-> Da Vinci Code and read the review I have posted.
I reiterate here that Dan Brown has done master work but let me ask you a question that a person who is not learned enough in the field in which he claims to be delivering his ideas, how long people should believe in it ? And if people belive on the ideas of him then what should we call to such people ?
One thing I observed here is that mostly every body in MS has agreed that Da Vinci Code is simply a fiction then what is the need of advocating his brilliance? If I write a story taking famous egyptian pyramids in my story then will it make my story to rise to the degree of the truth only because pyramids are visible & explorabl? Those people who applaud Dan Brown giving him many excellent intellectual titles, I would suggest you to do the research on the subject first otherwise whatever you comment about his grand work and intellectual will be nothing but a pretext and you know what pretext is ’’A text without a Context’’.
I admire the restless effort Dan Brown has put to write such a nice thriller only to prove that any writer can become popular with confusing mixture of mathematics, archeology, mythology, anthropology, cryptography...etc..when his audience take little care about scrutinizing them to believe it to be true.
Just enjoy the book and decline all its blasphemy.
