No Waterloo this!

I’ve been infected by this floyd virus for the past 12 years, ever since my elder brother brought home a cassette of ’The Wall’. Its really amazing how you can listen and love the same tracks for so many years!!

Pink Floyd has been my number one band for the last 12 years. In fact, once you listen to this, every other kind of music seems so superflous and artificial.

Pink Floyd (minus Roger Waters) have created magic in this production. The music is typical floydian and the sound full of emotion. I first heard this album a few years back and ’Lost for Words’ has become my favorite track since.

Some of my favorite lines from the album :

While you are wasting your time on your enemies,

Engulfed in a fever of spite.

Beyond your tunnel vision, reality fades,

Like shadows into the night...

  • (from ’Lost for words’ )

Once you start listening to the album, the music takes complete control and you want to close your eyes and just listen to it and never want it to stop. All the tracks are master pieces.

The lyrics and the music are truly haunting and make you sing at the top of your voices... ’Lost for words’, ’Marooned’, ’A great day for freedom’, ’Keep talking’ are some of the best tracks ever produced...

This one is magic, If you’ve not heard this one, you’ve not lived. (Really pity those who’ve not tasted floyd, yet!) I am such an addict of this album, this one’s always there on my MP3 phone while other albums trade places everyday.
