An essential to every business professional

ET - as management students and working professionals call it, is an essential information source for keeping oneself abreast with the Indian and World economy.

I have been reading it now.hmmmm for almost 6 and half years and believe me there hasn’t been a single day where I say.I will not read it today. Its the first thing that I do after I get up every morning!

Their coverage of Marketing and Branding, Financial Markets, Career and Business Life, Edditorial on Opinions of leading Thought Leaders in various fields.Political, Business, Philonthrophy, Technology, etc. is so great.

People who don’t read it generally complain that "I don’t understand what to read." Its because they try to understand everything in the world of business from Day 1.which isn’t possible.

Heres how one shd attempt to read ET -

Start with front page

Go to "Businee of Brands"

Glance "Career and Business Life"

Catch the action on "Emergic Business and IT"

And if you have time and energy go to Editorial page and get the "Views and Opinion" goldmine - hey thats a way how I read and I am a marketing professional. So follow on your own,  if you feel you want more Financial and Capital Market News!

Further, they have very good supplements - Brand Equity, Corporate Dossier, ET - Big Bucks(gues they have changed the name now)

Though its International market coverage is not comprehensive, but overall if something is there which affects the economy, its covered in ET.

But overall, its a product which leaves upto its promise - "The Power of Knowledge", you will tend to agree when you start following ET religiously:)
