The Grand Taj on Lady Curzon Road (I don’ think it has got to do anything with the BIG TAJ group) is a small and not so flashy restaurant. But the food and the service are good here. The ambience is not so beautiful like a restaurant in a posh area but I like the small set up.
Whenever I go to Commercial, Infantry Road or MG Road, I visit this small restaurant and have lunch there. I like the Egg curry and the Dal there. I don’t take meat now, but the Tanduri and kababs available there smell real good and my friends who eat chicken tell that Tanduri and Kababs are real good there.
If you like a small set up with good food, then you can visit this place. It’s ideal place for going with friends well but may not be with your date.
Very economical. I spend 100-150 rupees for food, which could have got me a bill of 400-600 in a good looking, flashy restaurant.
