Am I really the first??
Review : wow, ...hmm I thought why not write a review about one of your favorite singers MEhdi Haasan, ..what in fact makes me write this review is the fact that right now I am listening to MEhdi HAssan.......’’Mohobbat Zindagi hai, tum hi meri Mohabat ho, tum hi ho Bandagi meri, tum hi meri Ibadat ho, ..’’....i mean there is much more I could write down from his songs......this one guys u should know, covered by Anu Malik for the movie Baazi, starring Amir Khan., sung by Kumar sanu ( pls also listen to the original one)...’’ Rafta Rafta wo mere haste ka saman ho gehe, phele jaan phir jaane-jaan phir jaane-jaana hogehe, Din ba din barti gahi is husn ki ranaian, phele gul, phir gul-badan phir gul-badana hogehe.....’’ and so on and so on, ..okay if u r not that good in the ’’pure urdu’’ language then in some songs u will have difficulties to understand the meaning, ..but this is not really a problem, ..........’’takragea koi zindagi ki raha mein, ik Roshni andhere mein bikhragea koi-zindagi ki raha mein.....takragea koi zindagi ki raha mein...’’...Guy I tell you this Singer is out of this world, .He sings with such a beatiful ’’SUR’’......guys if u listen to him once u will just get addicted to him, ....i dont know how many guys know that the ’’Great Lata’’ said : ’’I hear god´s (Bhagwan) voice when he sings’’.........and the lyrics of his songs will really never let u down, ..he sings every word of the lyric like he tries to be the word, I know this is hard to explain, gut this is a fact, ...i mean Mehdi Hassan as well as Rafi, manday, ..Kishore, ..LAta..Noor JAhan, ..these people should represent Indian&PAkistani music and not the kinds of Panjabi mc......but as this is only a review about Mehdi hassan I will now focuse more on him, .....really he varies his voice according to the meaning of the lyrics, ..believe this is NOT EASY!!!!.......but he makes it look so easy, ....But this SOOO Wicked, ...HOw does he do that???... U know HIS voice and the beautiful meanings of his songs makes u Enter an entire new World where u just can forget any stress u have, ...hmm well okay if u really have some deep problems then there r songs that makes u fall more in sadness, but sometimes one just needs that, like that song: ’’..Apnon ne Gham diye to mujhe yaad aagea, Ik Ajnabee jo Ghair thaa aur Gham-guzaar thaa, ...apnon ne gham diyee....woh saat thaa to Duniya ke Gham-DIl se Door thee, .. Khushiyon ko saat leke-na jaane kahan geaa, ik ajnabee jo ghair tha aur Gham-guzaar thaa, ..apnon ne gham diye.....Duniya samaj rahi hai judaa mujhse hogea, judaa mujhse hogea....nazroon se Door jake bhee Dil se na ja saka, ik ajnabee so Ghair thaa aur Gham-guzaar thaa, ..apnon ne gham diye...., Ab Zindagi ki koi Tamanna nahi mujhe, ..tamanna nahi mujhe, ..Roshan ushi ke Damm se thaa bhoojta hua Diya, ik ajnabee jo ghair thaa aur Gham-guzaar thaa, .apnon ne gham diyee, .....wow that was nearly the whole song, ...
but there r many more which are even more sad, ..and the way he sings these songs it makes u feel more pain, ...But there r also songs of joy which are song with such a soft and really smooth and just out of this world voice, ....i mean really guys we wont see any other MEhdi HAssan, ...Start listening to him if u have not so far, .... what can I say more about Mehdi HAssan the person, ..well he is still alive, , .but he belongs to the more clasical kind of singers( which is goood!!!)....His Ghazals are SUPERBLY SUNG, ..i mean not even JAgjit Singh can compare himself to MEhdi HAssan, ...but his Filmi-songs are also very very good, ...but u must go for him, ...my review can not nearly describe his quality, ......In Pakistan and also in India he is very respected, ..he is a very simple man and when u have the Opprtunity to go to LAhore it will not be sth spectecular if u see this guy standing on a ’’Thaaba’’ and having some samosas, ...
He is a very simple man, .....just loved by people who love music, .....he refused to sing for the Indian cinema/movies but he never refused to go to India and give his audience a great performance there, ..but for the Indian movies he did not want to sing, ..i think it was because he did not want to leave his resident, which is understandable and he has some daughters, sorry I dont know the number, .....hmm okay I think it is time to stop writing this review otherwise people may get bored when they read this one, ...okay boys, girls, hope I could stirr u to listen to Mehdi hassan, ....
Hey that Sad Song I was just ’’writing down’’ above, here is kind of a translation :’’ mine(people close to me) have hurt me, so I remember the stranger(obviously his wife) person who shared my sorrows and pain, ... when he was aside I was not aware of the world-given pains...Where has he(she) gone with all the joys, a stranger who shared my sorrows and pain......when mine gave me Sorrow .the World thinks he got apart from me, .. he vanished from my eyes but he could not move away from my heart, ....a stranger who shared my sorrows and pain, when mine gave me pain, ...Now Life( as such) has no meaning for me, ...no meaning..Light was due to his strength a burning flame(that now is no more)..when mine gave me sorrow and pain..... okay hope I could help out those who cant speak Hindi or Urdu.....
