I had taken a LG KM355 from the Mobile store 1.5 years back and during the time of purchase, mobile store offered an additional one year warranty which I gladly accepted it. the problems started last month when I my microphone was not functioning and as per the warranty I took the mobile to the mobile store. worst mistake of my life time as the blame game started. the promoters in the mobile store( fraser town) first said I will have to take this to the LG service centre, inspite of me telling them the manufacturers warranty is only for one year and this needs to be coverd under the extended warranty by the mobile store. the promoter was confident that LG service center would help. As I already knew this is not going to help, I still went ahead and took it to the LG service center and they denied service. now back to the mobile store, mobile store called up some manager named Zaid and he said he said that as per the new policy I will have to get it repaired myself and then claim the money through reimbursement claim. when I asked that if the same thing is written in the warranty they said no. So finally Mr Zaid decided to study the copy of my warranty and revert back to me in a day or two. he took good 14 days and dint bother calling back. after multiple visits to the Mobile store(8 visits) I was not very happy and took my phone back. took the phone to a local repair shop, the Shop cleaned the dust in the mobile and microphone was working back. the local guy offered me a tea while he was working and he charged me Rs 50 only to powerblow the dust .I was just comparing a local shop vs a Multi chain cell phone with huge promises and delevered a frustration vs a small shop guy offering tea and doing a neat job in 30 mins.30 mins vs 30 days of no job. alternatively I had written to LG and the mobile store inspite of everyday reminders nobody till date has ever bothered to reply back.Moral of the story LG phones and the Mobile store deadly combo.buy at your own risk.you just will loose few days of your life and their service will wow you with frustration.

Update to this blog, Finally one of Managers from the Mobile Store called and apologised . it was a nice gesture, he also promised none of the customers will undergo similar bad experience . my advise to them was to do the same in their own interest. . Thank you for calling and putting me at ease.
