Fast, efficient, dependable

Pros:


-Genuine website, with accurate display of book availability status


-Fast Service, books delivered before time


-Highly responsive customer service


Cons:


-Order status not always updated, like it told “processing” when the book actually was processed and dispatched


-The store being new, customer is not very confident if they are still there(the blogs and customer feedback listed are months old) – However, they are very much there, kicking and alive as their fast delivery of my books showed.


My Story:


I was looking for the book:Kenneth Anderson Omnibus, and was looking for online options. Flipcart was showing out of stock for the volume I was looking for. Ordered the book on Rediff Books. They said delivery in 7-10 working days. Waited for 10 days, no delivery. Then contacted customer service, and after some wrangling, got my money back.


Apparently, the book was not in stock, even when the clearly showed “In Stock”


Then ordered the book in Infebeam.com. They too showed “In stock” and 2-4 days delivery time. Guess what? Same story, after 4 days, when I contact them, they said “Sir, our executive has gone to the market to procure the book, please wait for 1 day and see if he gets it” You call that “In stock”?


Anyway, the “executive” failed to get the book, and I was told “Sir, we looked all over India, the book is not available, so we shall oblige and do the favor of returning the money”.


Hmmm…you claim a book “In stock”, now you say its not, and you “Oblige and do a favor” by returning my money?


So, you can understand my trepidation when I went to the unknown website, storez.com and ordered the book, which showed “In stock” and 1-3 days delivery promise. On the 2nd day, the order status still showed “processing”, and given my previous experience I grew nervous. Sent them an email. Lightning came the answering phone call “Sir, we have already shipped the book yesterday, you shall get it today. We are yet to update the order status, that’s all”. And I did get it that day.


Thank you, storez.com, for getting me my favorite book, and showing that not all online book stores in India are bunch of dishonest unprofessionals.


Suggestion to storez.com:




  1. Give the website a more ‘recent’ feeling. All your blogs and customer feedback are dated.




  2. Take care to send a mail with tracking number of courier when you ship a book. Also, remember to update the order status J




  3. Work on getting a higher rank on Google. You service is far better than many out there, and your rank should reflect that.
