A wonderful book! Jerome’s fantastic account of a journey taken down the Thames along with two of his friends, ’’Three Men In A Boat’’ is definitely one of the most humourous books in English. Where Jerome succeeds is in his witty narrative. This combines with his amazing descriptive power to provide one with an enjoyable reading experience.
Oftentimes, when I am feeling down, Jerome has cheered me up with his inimitable prose. Pick up ’’Boat’’ and you will not regret it.
Overall, ’’Three Men in a Boat, ’’ along with its sequel, ’’Three Men on the Bummel’’ is a definite must-read.
