Tikona, A Triangle Hate Story

The pyramid(triangle) of Egypt is well known to contain entombed human sacrifices. Well, if you just try peeking into a Tikona(means triangle) tomb, you will see people buried alive there, unable to get out bcoz once you are in, they make sure you can never get out and you are always in their triangle.


That is what happened to me. This is the story of the horrible journey I undertook to their pyramid.


After putting up for more than 8 months with their shoddy service, poor connectivity, internet speed issues, frequent disconnections, low-average-IQ customer care but surprisingly prompt delivery of bills, I disconnected my service in May 2012 after paying all dues, returning all their equipment and finally I thought I am free and my worries are over, but it was just the beginning of my problems.


Six months later, on November 25, 2013, a customer-care-executive-turned-fake-lawyer called me in the morning that Tikona has filed a complaint in Delhi High Court against me under section 144 with respect to nonpayment of dues. He also told me that summons are ready to be sent to me, but if I only pay promptly within 1 hour(out of court settlement), then no summons.


Initially, I was shocked and scared, but that feeling was taken over by a feeling of being cheated and felt intense anger. He threatened me with dire consequences. When I challenged him, he threatened me he will come to my house to collect that paltry Rs.1500/- which they are claiming as my dues. He used the choicest words and badmouthed at me.


I regained my composure and then after consulting friends and well wishers and most importantly MouthShut, I have filed a complaint in several places including Government of India Ministry of Consumer Affairs.  http://www.core.nic.in/? A police complaint, I have met a lawyer and preparing the necessary paperwork.


The harasser’s name was Mr. Ajay Prathap Singh(could be a fake name) but his phone number is genuine, 09696731684. When I called him back on this number, he answered me and gave me a final warning that I have to pay in 1 hour.


I please urge to all of you future customers, please do not sign up with Tikona Broadband Service.


One more last thing, I had never ever experienced such harassment from any services company till now though I have been using all kinds of services from different companies as all of us are, so, imagine, I rate Tikona as my worst experience of all the bad experiences I have had till now.
