Scamsters and fraudsters, never create profile

Creating a profile on Timesjobs means unnecessary harassment, unwanted calls(at late hours and also during public holidays), and a mailbox full of SPAM(as they belong to Timesgroup that doesn’t mind selling the country as long as they get money).

I had created a profile a few years ago when I was actively searching for job. Though I never got any meaningful job recommendations from the website, I started getting emails and calls from all sorts of unwanted sources(some even dared to claim that they got my details from Timesjobs.com).

Initially I thought that something was wrong with my privacy settings on the website. When I visited the website, I realized that privacy settings were fine. Though, keeping their seller image, the website will not allow you to remove marketing mailers from privacy page(It means you will have to receive marketing communication since you have created a profile on their website).

What’s worst? You can never remove your profile from their website. Other websites like Monster.com give you an option to delete your profile, but Timesjobs doesn’t give you any options to delete profile(you can google it and see that there is no way to delete your profile).

Since last year, I started receiving strange calls from landline numbers in NCR region, probably Gurgaon(some of these phone numbers are -+91-124-717-4123, +91-124-710-8282). The callers would call up after 6 PM or on Public Holidays and would start the talk in Hindi, by introducing themselves as "xyz from Timesjobs.com". Even when you tell them that you are not interested in Timesjobs, they would persist(finally you would end up disconnecting the number). When I say persist, it means they would call you everyday, without fail, at the same time(I used to get this call at 6:40 PM).

Though I am using Truecaller to block their numbers, they are calling up from different numbers and trying to sell something from Timesjobs.com.

I would advise everyone to avoid this website. These guys are well known scamsters and spammers. Never put your personal details like phone, salary, address, etc. on their website. They may as well sell the data to hackers who can do serious harm.
