Loads of people pick up a huge bottle of Acetone, which is an industrial chemical(eeks!) to clean off their nail polish. This is the surefire way to chip your nails and leave them looking dry and cracking!
Pick up a good branded ’nail polish remover’, enriched with moisturisers. I found the new brand VOV to be really good. Revlon is good too but frightfully expensive!
You need to be careful while selecting any nail polish remover. Read the contents, ones with moisturizer are better than those which have only volatile chemical substances.
It causes harm to your nails, as it tends to get dry, and your nail might appear to lose its natural shine and might start cracking!
Acetone is basically a mixture of chemicals which works well on removing stains or colors on surfaces other than our nails. It is not usually considered as a part of cosmetic.
So keep your nails healthy too by using the right nail polish color and it’s right remover.
