How to increase car mileage-APPLICABLE MAINLY TO PETROL CARS1.as u know avoid quick accelaration.2.drive in a constant speed.3.move accelarator millimeter by millimeter4.always drive tyre concious.quick accelaration, breaking, frequent steering.all reduce mileage of car and tyre.5.sligtly over inflate tyres 1or 2psi than recomended.6.windows:open it just one cm on both front doors.7.use ac minimmaly.(check ac coolent if poor cooling)8.adjust ac fan speed to min and temp.to coolest9.skip gears:eg.in slope u can start in first and shift to third’10.for a car optimum speed is 55-60km/hr11.ac after 40km/hr.ac in lower gears increase engine load.12.park in shade.13.down shift only just before engine starts struggling(u will know this by experience)EG.it is possible to drive at 30km/hr in fifth gear in wagon r.may vary with car company14.it is better to drive a car by single person.never give to harsh drivers.15.use top gear as early as possible.drive good feel good.(please rate this)points may look haphazard.pardon me.!
