Get Creative!

Nail Art is fast becoming popular - and how! The quest for creative and innovative dress-up for your nails has just begun. So whether it’d be tatoos or just plain nailpaints to do the trick - the choice is yours. Make it wacky or sophisticated - let your nails express your mood.

Here are a few ideas to make those nails stand out this season:

Trendy: Use shades of pink or blues - anything that stands out. Try avoiding very deep or very light shades. Apply three coats of your chosen nailpaint and let it dry completely. Using a toothpick make a diagonal/straight line along the length of your nails. This line can be of a deeper or a lighter shade. You can also use shades of gray or silver. If you’re wearing a dress with a particular color combination, you might also like to try including the shades on your nails. The line can also be zigzag - sort of like a lightning. Using the toothpick is kind of tricky - so make sure you give it your full attention.

Playful: Use bright shades if you’re going in for the playful look. Oranges, greens, yellows(stop making faces - I said bright!) would do well. Again, the toothpick will be the best way to make this nailart stand out. Make patterns or designs. You can also make floral prints easily with the toothpick. Nail tattoos are again excellent options for giving your nails a playful look. It would always be an advantage if you coat your nails with a transparent nailpaint once you’re done - important essentially if you’re using tattoos.

Classic: Deep shades would suit you the best if you’re in for the classic look. You can give a transparent coat before giving coats of your nailpaint - will give a better finish. Make sure your nails are perfectly filed if you really want to look classicly classic!

Sporty: Go in for colors that ooze of energy and strength. Giving a transparent coat first would last your nailpaint a longer life. Top off the nailpaint with glitters to make it truly sporty. Alternating the nails with glittering tattoos would make a perfect sporty look.

Daring: If you’re really going to do anything to make your nails look unique, then you can go in for bright colors with textures. You can grab a piece of lace and while the nailpaint is still wet, press on it gently and voila, you’d have the perfect texture.

Free-Spirited: So no one can hold you back eh? Try painting with more than one color on your nails, divide in half and go for a horizontal divide - or a vertical! Use contrasting colors for a more free spirited attitude on your nails.

The key is to be creative and to make your nail-painting a special affair. Take good care of your diet - else your nails will just crack away. Get manicures on time and look your attitude - always!

Lemme know if these were of any help!
