Tirupati- A golden religious city in India

Tirupati is a very beautiful place with very beautiful temples. Lord Venkateswara, also known as Balaji, is believed to be the richest lord. Lord Venkateswara is a form of Lord Vishnu, and his wife is Padmavati, a form of Goddess Lakshmi. Tirumala has 7 hills. Of course, you can walk, but it will take you forever to make it all the way up to the top. I remember when we went, we rode up by the car. A lot of people say they walk, but we rode in the car. It took a long time even by car. The temple is a very beautiful golden gem, and the main idol of Lord Balaji is a breathtaking site. The main temple is called Srivari, and within the same area you have what is called the Vaikuntam Q Complex, with some shopping and places to eat. But the only problem is, the lines in the temple during darshan are very long, both day and night. It takes forever to reach the front side of the temple. Of course, the priests are always running water, cleaning the place. In the morning darshan, the security will not let you stay inside the temple very long- after one glimpse at Lord Venkateswara, they push you out!
