DO NOT EVER make any reservations through travelguru.com, they are the worst travel agency... they screwed up all my plans for my vacation.
I had called them up around 3 weeks before my vacation and made the booking online on their website and once I reached my holiday destination, I got to know that my hotel booking had been changed to a sister concern of the hotel without even informing me.....
This was ridiculous, as that hotel was quite shabby looking and didn’t even looking like a guest house, there was worst to come, they room given to us was right in front of the servant quarter and we had dogs roaming in front of our room..
I tried calling up travelguru several times and they refused to entertain my phone call, stating that the hotel was responsible not the travel agency. The rep I spoke to even advised my of a call back in 30 minutes, which I have not received till date..these guys are useless, hopeless and terrible.
I’m at a loss of words for this sick travel agency. With great difficulty and after a lot of convincing I managed to get back to my original hotel (for which I had originally made the reservations) and to my dismay even that hotel was not up to our standard.
What travelguru does is they post glamorous pictures on the internet making customers feel delighted, which is not the true case. The agency stated on line was the breakfast would be included, but the only item served in the B/F was toast/ butter and jam, which was also not required.
As both me and my husband didn’t even eat that, only my daughter had it. This agency is disgusting, my sincere advise to anyone going for a holiday, please DO NOT use this, always use Makemytrip, as I have always made my reservations through that and never ever faced any challenges.
They have a certain standard hotels on their list, and they mean what they show... My sincere suggestion PLEASE DO NOT EVER USE TRAVELGURU IN THE FUTURE, THIS GROUP SHOULD BE CLOSED......
