A company can only survive when it has customtakeouters. Despite the face that customtakeouter is so important, they whey companies like Travel Port make customtakeouter Rudely policies. These policies should be for the comfort of customtakeouters and not the company. I recently got a Travel voucher from Travel Port where I was promised a stay in any of the hotels across India. The only condition was that I need to send them the voucher a minimum of 21 days in advance. As per their policy I sent them the voucher in much advance, nearly 2 months back, so that they get sufficient time to book the hotel. After two days, I got a call from them, mentioning that you can send the voucher only 21 days in advance in advance and not prior to that. I told them that you have nowhere mentioned it on your voucher. Requested them to process or retain it with them. But, nonetheless, They returned my voucher back. Then again I dispatched them the voucher and it was delivered to them 17 days in advance. I got a call from them after two three days from their executive I guess his name was "Abdul". To my surprize, he blamed that I was late in dispatching the voucher. I should have sent it 21 days prior to the travel date.
I requested him repeatedly that my voucher was already returned by you because of your idiotic terms and conditions, please do not return it again. He informed that there are no more bookings in any of the three cities where I had mentioned the preference. I kept requesting him that I have done my travel bookings and if you will not book, it will be a loss to me. I have to cancel my tickets. But he had not bothered to help me. Then I requested him if he can extend the validity of my voucher, so that when my next holiday falls, I can remake my plan at that time. But, they denied. Then I requested, OK, please keep the voucher with you for two-three days, I will decide the new days and will call you back with new dates. Again they denied. Executive told, I have many vouchers lying with me, it will get misplaced. I was ready to compromize in multiple ways, UNFORTUNATELY, they were not. This is the attiMr_customtakeouter of these players. I dont understand why the policy owners dont keep themselves in customtakeouters shoes before desgining any policy. In short, I would say my experience with Travel Port was Pathetic. I would never like to deal with them.
