After 2 years and some 15000 km, my experience so far with Jive is -
A nice and comfortable urban commuter, I rate it as the best one available.
Real good torque for its 110 cc mill.
Decent fuel efficiency - always above 60kmpl.
No additional expenses other than scheduled servicing charges.
What else does anybody want?
I believe that what reviews I have seen in the negative are unfounded and should be due to any of the following:
Utter lack of bike knowledge
Poor maintenance / driving habits
Let it be known that I am 60 year old with around 40 years of experience behind me.
Issues with Jive, if any, are attributable to the ignorance of riders themselves rather than the bike itself.
True, the plastics are not of the best quality. But then, this is a very well made-out product, and will serve one for its full life span.
I felt sorry when’HH Street’ - a fine city commuter was not patronized, and it’s gone.
I shall feel really sorry if’Jive’ too goes the’Street’ way. just because the present generation proves to be as ignorant and dumb- headed as the earlier one.
