The first bike which I ever owned in my life was a violet coloured Victor........Believe me this bike SUCKS. My first idea was to buy Pulsar 150or Suzuki Fiero. But then, my parents did not agree with the decision assuming that the power was too high for me.
Well let me share some good and bad experiences of mine about this bike.
PROS:
- Good mielage. mine gave me 70 to 75 Kmpl.
2.Good front and rear shock absorbers. Rear being easili adjustable ones, can be adjusted anytime according to the requirement.
CONS:
1.Faring makes hell lot of noise.
Highly Unstable bike. Dose not have a good grip on roads. at high speeds, this gets even worst.
The tyres used are TVS tyres and ware off too early thus working as an addon to the instability.
4.THE BIGGEST PROBLEM........ The starting problem. the bike that I owned did not start even after applying a choke. Instead the engine flooded. Trying to start the vehicle giving sudden acceleration would give a hard back kick. I experienced it very badly!!!!!! So had to kick the bike for a long time.
5.The crank... (A linkage between engine and gear box). It gets damaged even if the vehicle is slightly overloaded. ideally this should not happen with slight overloads because the engine has its own power. Other thing that the service engineers say is that the crank by itself needs to be replaced around 65 to 70000Kms.!!!!
- The cables, (Clutch, break and throttle ones, they tend to break any time anywhere). Had to get the bike all the way to the workshop, driving the bike on Choke, when the throttle cable snapped off half the way to my college!
Would like to share this experience:
Once on my way to home, from college, driving at an average speed of around 50to 55kmph, had to brake suddenly for some reasons and looo here I went skidding on the road, towards the right side and was dragged long enough with the bike. I had got my right hand totally wounded which a deep cut on my right elbow, believe me, I coild literally see the bone!! also right knee was wounded, shirt had torn off and mt watch glass too was broken. Blood was literally dripping from my elbow. I can never forget that accident. Even while writing this review my hands are shivering.
IN SHORT: Would NOT recommend this bike.
Inspite if you want to go for this bike, just for styling (if you feel!!) mileage, then remember it may cost your life if you are a freak biker!! If you are not, then you may think about this bike BUT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
i sold this bike just in 5000Kms and got Fiero F2.
