And the victor is...

To me, this bike is definitely a replacement to the old fellas i.e, splendor, passion, caliber, crux etc.

TVS says it has recorded a record sales figure for this bike and has outgrown the market growth and its expectations.Too many bakras buying the bike!!!

Well, actually no as it is a good bike overall

There are some really useful innovations that will help draw a good performance with a high fuel efficiency. The bike

is not classy in looks but definitely is acceptable.Disc brakes and Electric start should be given as options(common TVS.. dont give this stupid reason that u dont need disc brakes for this category of bikes).

One more thing is that when I enquired for the disc brakes and the electric start options, the dealer said it would cost me 56K+(He was joking for sure!!)When u have done all the hard work of creating a successful formula bike, why dont u finish it off properly by providing all these necessary options(Dont stumble to the ground at the finishing line). Also, get ur people going

and look for adding an additional cog to the existing

cogs and disc brakes replacing the drum brakes. Maybe u r already working on it and I dont see the results.

U have already lost a lot of ground because of these 2 factors(disc and addnl gear)for the Fiero by being so callous. The stickering on the victor could be more creative

and decent.Paint job is not top notch.Me thinks that the fit and finish can be improved further and stop paying so much to TENDULKAR and co for the promotional ads in the future which adds on to the bike’s price(The publicity exercise has been a success. No doubts ’bout that).

Instead invest on something useful on the bike or ur buyers.

Overall, the bike has a lot of character and is bound to succeed.

Since Freedom is out and has everything in it to match victor, there is every possibility that it will eat victor’s share.

About the bike:

1)Price:around 45K in Bangalore(rightly priced)

2)Suspension:better than fiero and among the best in its class.

3)Electricals:Good(one of TVS’s forte)

4)Mileage:too good at 55-65kms/ltre(many say it is in the 60s on an average)

5)looks and build quality:just above average(certainly not the best)

6)Pickup:Good(better than splendor to say the least)

7)Maintenance:low(people say so)

Verdict: Victor lives upto its slogan of more smiles/hr and there definitely are a lot of people smiling.
