Unboxed fragrances can be classified into 2 types.
Tampered bottle. Here the bottle is original but the content is diluted. In most cases you can easily figure it by just looking at the atomizer, it will have a lot of dents and scratches on it. It’s not common but there is a good chance you’ll get one.
Genuine old stock. These are really worth though shell life is over.

L’Homme by YSL - Original but old stock, April 2014 bottle(Batch code verification).
MAN in Black EDP by Bvlgari - Tampered bottle with some cheap alcohol. Batch code not present. FAKE
Acqua Di Gio EDT By Giorgio Armani - Tampered bottle. Atomiser was already leaking and the smell was not even close to the original. Again mixed with some cheap alcohol. Batch code not present. FAKE
L’eau D’ Issey By Issey Miyake - Original but old stock, May 2010(Batch code verification)
F by Ferragamo Salvatore - Tester without cap
Dolce & Gabbana One 150ml - This I got as a replacement for the above-tampered bottle. It’s 2014 old stock.
One thing I got appreciate is their shipping, it’s super quick and they ship by BlueDart.
Overall, if you’re fine with outdated stock, then it’s a good buy. You get these perfumes almost at 1/4 th of the actual price. All EDT, EDP got 36 months shell life and almost all unboxed items fall into this category.
