I ordered a book from U read few days back, since I was using this site for the first time, I opted for COD facility. After order was placed, I got a confirmation mail and SMS that my order was successfully placed. Since it was COD option, I expected a call from customer care verifying details, address etc.. but I did not get any call (which I was expecting)
After couple of days received mail and sms that book is dispatched, and I received the book through FedEx.
Book was nicely packed and got 30% discount. Same book was available in landmark at MRP. The reason why I did not buy the book from landmark was it was too costly. Now I got the same book within budget (considering 30% discount)..
About 2 months back I bought one book from landmark at MRP. Same book was available at U read for 35% discount also, or at flip kart with discount too. Very good site for buying books online and they offer excellent discounts.. good packaging and prompt service.
Please dont buy books from stores like landmark, or oxford where they dont offer any discounts.Rather pl opt for Uread. henceforth I will use this site and recommend others too..-- considering discounts and service
