You are what you eat

Most people when they get up in the morning are in a rush to get to work, children off to school or whatever the case may be. Because of time they neglect the most important meal of the day. Any doctor will tell you that breakfast is the most important.

It can make all the difference as to how your day goes. If you grab a donut and coffee you are going to be very sluggish as the day wears on.

A great way to start the day is a glass of water, juice a coffee if desired and if you are in a rush a bowl of whole grain cereal will help you. Grab a piece of fruit and maybe a yogurt if you work and need a quick lunch.

Always eat light in the evening as that food stays with you. It is much better to eat a large breakfast and lunch and a simple light meal at night.

You need plenty of fruit and vegatables in your system a nice big salad with both thrown in can be a quick supper, and good for one and also light in calories.

I personally do not like water and I know it is needed so you can mix a little bit of juice in it to make it taste different and thus get the water in. Drink most of your water early in the day so your sleep will not be disturbed.

I will tell you what my sister and I did for a few weeks and it was great. We lost weight and had tons of energy and felt great.

We bought mixed bags of fruits and threw them in the blender frozen and made a fruit shake for first thing in the morning. Later we had a slice of toast.

Lunch was a dinner sized plate of salad with fruits and veggies in and a small bowl of home made vegatable soup.

Dinner we had a small salad, a hot veggie and either chicken, fish or turkey broiled or baked and seasoned and our other grain. It could be a dinner roll or a small baked potato.

One day a week we ate anything we wanted but still stayed in smaller portions. You need to have a treat once in awhile.

The best thing you can do is prepare your foods differently. Fried foods are not good for you although they may taste good. You are getting a lot of fat that you don’t need and you can develop health problems from loving greasy foods. One of those problems is gall stones and trust me guys it is not something you want.

So pick what works for you, eat right, get the water in, get plenty of rest and exercise and feel wonderful.
