Our TAX money gone waste

I had gone with great expectations for this film esp. after reading MilindDesai’s review last week. He gave it 5 stars. And he is the biggest film buff in MS. Then it was the 1st Public Funded film which means its made on our tax money. Then it was directed by VED RAHI(Gul Gulshan Gulfam) .But it turned out to be one of the most disastrous experiences for me.

Now I dont like bio epics. But I wont hold that against the film. A bad film is a bad film. No

matter what genre it belongs to. The Direction was totally ameuterish for a old timer like Ved Rahi. The cinematographer must be one of the worst in the industry. Technically it was as bad as Hyd Blues. There were only 2 kinds of shots in the film. One is startiing with a close up shot & the camera goes behind(little far). The other is exactly opposite of it. Then there r lotsa continuity mistakes in the film.

The Dialogues were totally boring. They talk among each other as if they r adressing a rally or something(maybe the film needed something like that , but I got totally bored. Theres a folk song or something after 1 hr which seemed never ending. The acting was just ok. The British Officers

in UK speak in hindi among themselves( imagine). Then theres this Jailor in Kalapani Jail acted by Tailer who takes hamming to new heights in this film. All he does is scratch his beard & scream MIRZA MIRZA all the time...when he is not beating up the prisoners.I had taken my friend who never wanted tosee this flick. Imagine what state he was in. So I had no option & we came out in the interval. Something which I have done only once before in my life for the film TRIMURTIor something...that subhash ghai film.

So beware!!!!!!!!
