I Joined VLCC as it was my best friends wedding and had to loose some weight .... ended up gaining more weight ..
I understand no refunds but they cant convert my package as well to some thing else ..
The most important thing is that they will never inform you that your package comes with an expiration date in writing or by like informing this to you when they take your money... here’s the catch they will tell u this when the pkg expires and will demand more money to activate the same ... I made a mistake I should have read some reviews before joining this place as I see there are many people have filed cased against VLCC for cheating them at the consumer forum .....
Also after repeatedly writing to them and trying to get in touch with the CEO I was told by his PA that she will forward my complaint to them but I guess they are busy cheating people out therefore no time tyo address complaints ...
I have been trying to get some kind of solution for a problem that I am facing from VLCC from the past few months let me give you a brief Idea of what I have been through.
28-Apr-10** – I enrolled for the weight loss program offered by VLCC. Anuradha Mukherjee (EMP09792) was the person or the rep who gave me the package details Monetary as well as about the sessions that I could avail. I was given a receipt for the token amount that I paid initially then going forward within 2 weeks I paid the rest of the amount that which is a total of 14339.00 INR.
I have 3 Receipts from VLCC but I do not see any kind of VALIDITY OR EXPIRATION DATE for the package on the same neither was it informed to me when paid for the package.
Now here is the problem due to various reasons (Family functions, on job travel, my health) I could not avail the services I had paid for and was informed by VLCC that in order to use the same I will have to renew my package by paying another few thousand rupees, (They called me when according to them I had a week left) which I did not agree too as I was never ever informed about the validity date neither do I have it in writing from VLCC. Therefore I wrote to VLCC and was then assured there won’t be any problems I can use the package and that they had spoken to the manager. Sujata (Manager) called me and informed me that every service provided comes with an expiration date and my package also has to be used within 1 month I realized that it was no use taking it further as I wanted to use the money I had invested and also see the results.
06-Oct-10 – **I was told to sign a card sheet that is used to jot down the weight of a person after the session, stating that I agree that the validity of the session is 06-Nov -10 I just signed, Now here goes I wanted to know how do I go about using 16 sessions In one month every alternate day gives me 13 days. I consulted my doctor and was advised not to continue as I was stressing my self out and it is not good for me to loss weight suddenly , Therefore I checked with VLCC again if my package could be converted towards the skin or hair care packages and was told that I have to use it by 06 NOV 10 .
See 14K is not a lot of money but it is my money which you guys have I am trying to work things out but it’s like VLCC does not want to co-operate or help me, in simpler terms its cheating. Because legally I have proof that it was never conveyed to me that the package comes with expiration. The reason I am writing is to get VALUE FOR MY MONEY, else there are many ways through which I can let at least people Know the SCAM that VLCC is running.
