Vodafone/Hutch - They Eat Your Money

I don’t know whether I come across such products or whether in our country, they are all the same.

I got five Hutch numbers for me and my family members in January 2007. The dealer from Hutch promised me that I shall be getting 750 minutes free calling on every individual number among all the five numbers along with other facilities. But the first month bill reflected that all the calls we made amongst these five numbers were charged as other normal calls. The dealer was a poor guy that made me show some sympathy to him. I told him I would pay the bills in full but I wanted a clean deal next bill onwards. He was happy to know that as I agreed to pay in place of him.

The same thing happened in the bill that I received in March. I was again charged for calls on my CUG numbers. I have not been paying those charges to them since March and am constantly fighting with them for this. I approached the Customer Care, their Vodafone centre, and then I chose emailing their nodal head Vishwanath of Punjab (Nodal Officer: +91-9988198490-99, Fax number: +91-9888098888, E-mail : Visvanath.nodal@vodafone.com) but they either do not respond to mail or respond in 10-12 days. The Vodafone Centre says that I should have purchased it from them. When I bought the connections, there were no Vodafone Centres.

I think we should have a Time Machine so that we can buy things from those who are yet to born. They are again saying that they will not be able to give me that waiver.

I am going to change my service providers soon but you guys do not come in false promises made by their dealers. Do not buy connections from them.
