Without someone even know, some service can activate but to deactivate a lot of process and you loos money !!
For Last few months I was feeling my bill is going higher but was running short of time to analyse the bill..!
Then when I saw the details, it says, 30% of bill is in "others" / "download" category ..!!
in the itemised bill it is showing "Re. 1. Store" as a line item for everyday and for 00 seconds of internet connectivity and 5 rupee charge !!
When I call the call centre they were very loud and clear..
" You must have enabled the Re.1.Store from vodafone live" and hence 5 rupee per day charge.
"This is a third party service we can’t help".
"To disable you need to send an sms to vodafone care or 111 (all though it is a third party service)"
"GO to a vodafone store and check, do whatever you want, you will not get that money back, no way"
I suspect vodafone is silently pushing some spam to do all this on our behalf. We never access internet from our phone , for any service to get activated or deactivated you need sms .. and for of them you only need sms during deactivation ... now I am paying 5 /- every day for last three months, just for nothing !! Even if I would have given this to a poor / begger , they would have blessed me...!!
How do we stop these nonsense? if it is feasible to go to consumer’s forum for this alone ?? Possibly no point . that is what Vodafone is banking on.. Just imagine Millions of customer and just 100-150 rupee on an average make out of tactics...!!
