’We the people’ is one of the few must-see programmes on my Sunday routine.A programme which focusses on the current & debatable issues, and involves not only the audience within but also the viewers.All the credit must go to the excellent manner in which Barkha Dutt presents the programme.She is simply great at handling the variety of emotions and reactions of the participants, and her sense of timing is excellent - that is, she knows when to step in if the situation gets out of control and invariably has a knack for keeping almost everyone happy !!
This savvy lady must be complimented for not only her depth of knowledge but also for her remarkable sense of humor mixed with sarcasm that she directs at the celebs/MPs etc.The discussions most of the time stay focussed and is moderated very professionally by the presenter.Another reason why I like to see this is that it deals with issues from all different angles and not from a biased side.I thoroughly enjoy watching the two sides of the arguments and the plus point is there have been numerous occasions when the programme has made me aware of an issue that I would have never given a thought !!
The camera team also does a fantastic job of capturing the expressions so beautifully. Hats off to Barkha & 24 X 7!!
